Getting Comfortable with the Unreal Editor
Navigate the viewport, understand panels, and organize your workspace. Most people spend their first week just learning where everything is — that’s normal.
Read GuideLearn professional game development and virtual environment creation through hands-on online workshops. We’re based in Montreal and teach real techniques used in industry.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or sharpening existing skills, our structured curriculum covers everything from interface fundamentals to photorealistic lighting and scene planning. You’ll work with industry-standard tools and get feedback from experienced instructors.
We focus on practical skills and real-world application, not just theory.
Every session includes live coding and practical exercises. You’re not watching slides — you’re building actual projects from day one.
We teach with Unreal Engine 5, the same engine used in AAA game studios and professional VFX production. Your skills transfer directly to real jobs.
Our courses build logically from fundamentals to advanced techniques. You’ll understand the “why” behind every concept, not just the “how.”
We keep groups intimate so instructors can give you individual attention. If you’re stuck on something, you’ll get help immediately.
Learn from anywhere. Our live online sessions work whether you’re in Montreal or anywhere else. You can also review recordings if you miss a class.
Everything you create in our workshops is portfolio-quality work. You’ll leave with finished pieces you can show potential employers or clients.

Our teaching approach from day one to graduation
We’ll walk you through installing Unreal Engine, getting your project set up, and understanding the workspace layout. Most people spend 30-45 minutes here. Don’t worry if it feels overwhelming at first — we explain everything step by step.
You’ll learn the fundamentals: viewport navigation, the editor interface, how materials work, lighting principles, and scene organization. These first weeks build your foundation. We make sure you actually understand why things work the way they do.
Now you’ll apply what you’ve learned. Build a complete environment — maybe a photorealistic room, an outdoor scene, or a game level. You’ll use lighting, materials, and composition techniques to make it look professional.
Polish your work until it’s portfolio-ready. You’ll get detailed feedback, learn optimization techniques, and finalize your project. You’ll leave with finished work you can actually show to studios or clients.
